The second piece and my least favorite done in the Jennie McGuire workshop.  I have to say it looks very different than it did at the start.  White was used and I tried to get rid of too much detail. On a half sheet of cold press Arches.

Angular Susan

My first class project with Jennie McGuire.  Using angular strokes and a thicker paint.  Not really painted like the instructor?  Well I did use white and I changed areas like an oil or acrylic piece.  Watercolor  on a half sheet of cold press Arches.

The artist was wonderful but if you are wanting to see a completed work, she isn't going to complete a piece.  But I thought that was a good thing.  She has no issues with using white and the painting process can and does take a while.  It was if I was painting in acrylic but it did not have that 'plastic' feeling.
